Good news! We have received approval on our budgets and are now fully funded! We are now ready to start buying materials and as soon as design stage is finished we can start fabrication.

One of the first things we would like to do is hold our own little air show. The club will purchase several starter planes and the more experienced pilots will teach us how to fly. I’m excited for this and think it will be a ton of fun! Hopefully this can happen within the next couple weeks. Feel free to comment on what kind of plane you think would be a good starter plane!

Sam, Krishna and the fabrication team were talking about a square fuselage. You also said you were going to run some numbers through the Matlab code this week. Have you updated the code to run with a square fuselage? I think since this involves the overall structure of the aircraft, everyone should be involved and give their input in this decision.

Maybe we can even do an unconventional design, and tweak the matlab code a bit?

As such I have taken some time to re-work our website in hopes of allowing for easier content publishing and management.
